Susannah Bruder
Susannah Bruder, Founder of Yoga Sita, has devoted twenty years to her practice of Yoga. A a full-time Yoga teacher for thirteen years, opening Yoga Sita represents a dream come true for Susannah. Prior to teaching, she developed and directed a Rehabilitation Therapy program at Mission District Chiropractors in San Francisco for many years. Susannah blends her practical understanding of Yoga and knowledge of the human body, with well-informed adaptations and occasional humor. Her teaching is precise, graceful, focused. Susannah taught six weekly classes at Piedmont Yoga Studio in Oakland over five years, ending in 2001, and completed two years of Teacher Training at Piedmont in 1997. Zhander (Shandor) Remete is her inspiration and her teacher for the past ten years. Susannah is a lifelong athlete and a lover of the outdoors. Nancy Clarke
Nancy Clarke was drawn to Yoga in her early thirties to gain strength. After much healing of body and soul with her home practice, Nancy sought further guidance. Finding Susannah Bruder and rejoicing, Nancy continues more than ten years of studies with her. Nancy completed Yoga Sita's Teacher Training in 2006 and began teaching in the tradition of Susannah and her Teacher, Zhander Remete, and all the brilliant Teachers back to the beginning of Yoga. Jennifer Billock
Jennifer draws inspiration from the various styles of yoga she has practiced
and studied since 1994. Emphasizing both the development of strength and
stamina, and the importance of quiet, introspective relaxation, she aims to
help each student discover ways in which to use yoga to create greater ease
in the body, mind and heart. Jennifer holds teaching certifications from
Integrative Yoga Therapy and Yin/Yang Yoga with Sarah Powers and Paul
Grilley. Jennifer and Susannah met in 2004, when Susannah taught classes at
Bernopoly, on Cortland Avenue in Bernal Heights, and invited Jennifer to come

Tony Perez
Tony Perez , a Captain with the Oakland Fire Department for over twenty years, is a devoted Yogi. Tony will be teaching CPR and First Aid courses, for Certification, quarterly, at Yoga Sita. Tony has been teaching CPR around the Bay, for many years. He completed the six month Teacher Training at Yoga Sita, and the 200 hour Teacher Training at the Iyengar Institute in S.F.
